Why we are built this way

The stage, the lights and the crew are ours.

Most event companies plan or produce. A planner books one supplier for the stage, another for the lights, a third for the sound — and on the night, nobody owns the moment when the music has to hit exactly as the couple walks in.

We own our staging, lighting rigs, LED walls, sound systems and effects, and our own technicians run them. That is why we can promise a cue rather than hope for one.

It also means one contract, one budget you can actually read, and one person who answers the phone when something needs solving at eleven at night.

How we got here

Four moments in thirty years.

1995

Sada Al Afrah opens in Dubai

The company starts as a wedding house — zaffa, kosha, décor and coordination for Arabic families across the emirate.
2000s

Word of mouth becomes the business

Families book us for the second wedding, then the third. The work spreads across the emirates, and beyond Emirati weddings into Iraqi, Lebanese and Indian celebrations.
2010s

We stop renting and start owning

Chasing third-party suppliers on event night was the recurring problem. So we bought the staging, lighting, LED and sound, and hired the technicians who run them.
Today

Planning and production, one team

Weddings remain about half the work. The rest is corporate — launches, conferences, gala dinners — plus private parties and shows, across all seven emirates.

Three decades. One obsession: the night has to work.

Culturally fluent

A zaffa is not a substitute for an ayyala.

An Emirati wedding, an Iraqi zaffa, a Lebanese entrance and an Indian sangeet each run to their own order, their own music and their own timing.

After thirty years in the UAE we plan to the tradition rather than to a template — and we book performers who know the difference, because the families in the room will.
